Five star shaped sculptures are placed on a branch in New York City. How long will they stay? Will they survive the weather?
Many visits are made over days, then weeks, then months. The sculptures are there, hidden in plain sight. They are especially difficult to see amongst the dense spring foliage. In the stark winter, their color echoes that of the bark on the trees. Over a year later, the thread wears through. Three of the sculptures are found amongst the leaves at the base of the tree.
